Our Project Portfolio
Although difficult to put a flooring project into one little place, these are just some samples from previous projects. For each project, we provide clients with:
Marked up prints that establish what product goes where with a corresponding legend.
A fully detailed Excel spreadsheet inclusive of the raw data and built on pivot tables thereby allowing any adjustments specific to the company requirements.
The Measure file broken down into small components, generally by room, so that if something changes, it is easy find and fix on the fly, especially helpful for design and product changes.
A sheet or email that defines the scope of work and any issues that may have arisen during the project.
A QC sheet that the project has been checked internally by our team and a great reference for the client to review as well. Remember-it is the clients responsibility to ensure the final numbers, waste, and product list.
Exemplary customer service and our satisfaction guarantee.
VA Hospital Floor Renovation
This is a great example of a general project that we would do on a semi regular basis. We have 5 LVT products that needed to be estimated, VCT, multiple base products as well as homogeneous sheet vinyl that required heat welding and flash coving. These types of projects can range from 5 hours to 10 hours depending on the complexity of the patterns that need to be estimated. As you can see, this project had quite a bit of flooring borders and LVT patterns that needed to be taken off and estimated.
This project is relatively simple in our project scope in that the product list was relatively small and – although a Large 7 story project – it was generally pretty straight forward, with the usual estimating of carpet, vct and tile. Most basic hotels that are 3-5 stories run between 10-14 hours of time depending on the complexity and size of the project.
This is an example of a general project that we have on a semi regular basis. There are multiple homogeneous vinyl products with borders and patterns, heat welded seams and flash-coving that required a detailed estimate. Along with the vinyl, there is a significant amount of ceramic tile and carpet. These types of projects generally range from 10 hours to 15 hours depending on the complexity of the patterns that need to be estimated. As you can see, this project had quite a bit of flooring borders and patterns that needed to be taken off and estimated.
This Embassy Suites was an 8 floor hotel that was loaded with 28 different tiles, 16 carpets including patterns that needed to be figures and estimated along with a variety of transitions, detail work, sealed concrete and epoxy. This take off was – for a hotel – a bit more complex than most in that it had such a wide array of products that needed to be figured. The amount of products also required our takeoff specialists to look closely at the details hidden within the prints. In the end, our customer was very happy with the results. Most mid grade hotels that are 5-12 stories run between 15-20 hours of time depending on the complexity and size of the project.
This was a ground up project that required the use of over 9 sheet vinyls that required heat welding, flash coving, border and inset work. There were several hundred rooms to figure as well a variety of products ranging from Epoxy floors and ceramic tile to a variety of carpets and of course, sheet vinyls. The size of this project is not on the scale that we see every day, however, we do get them and enjoy doing the flooring takeoff and estimation of these types of projects. When all was said and done, there were over 500 sheets of cut lists and material breakouts.
